Scope: This standard specifies methods for measuring the noise level of a turbine or turbine unit during steady-state operation. Methods are provided for measuring equivalent sound pressure levels on a measuring surface surrounding a noise source. Requirements for the test space and measuring instruments are established, as well as methods for determining the equivalent sound pressure level at the surface, on the basis of which the A-corrected source sound power level and sound power levels in octave or 1/3-octave bands are calculated. These methods can be used to conduct performance tests
