Scope: The model of the competition for awards of the Government of the Russian Federation in the field of quality (hereinafter referred to as the model) is a set of interrelated criteria and principles of their application, intended: 　——to conduct a self-assessment procedure for the activities of organizations that have decided to participate in the competition; 　——for expert assessment of the activities of participating organizations within the framework of the competition; 　——organizations that have decided to improve their activities based on the model. This standard establishes the structure of the model, the wording of the names of the criteria and their components, which define the areas of assessment that characterize certain types of activities of organizations, and the basic principles of applying criteria for assessing these types of activities
