ASTM F2440-18 - Std. & Spec

Scope: 1.1 This specification covers wall padding and padding for other indoor structures. All padding constructions are included. The intended use of this specification is for the qualification of construction designs and comparison of products. NOTE 1—This specification was developed due to the numerous designs in existence and the need to provide a method to determine if a wall pad meets a minimum level of protection. NOTE 2—There is no equivalent ISO standard. 1.2 The values as stated in SI units are to be regarded as the standard. The values in parentheses are given for information only. 1.3 This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use. It is the responsibility of the user of this standard to establish appropriate safety, health, and environmental practices and determine the applicability of regulatory limitations prior to use.
