Scope: This standard establishes the basic terms used in the field of creating a barrier-free living environment for people with disabilities, including in the field of ensuring the physical accessibility of buildings, structures, the urban environment as a whole, as well as services provided for people with disabilities and other low-mobility groups. This standard is intended for use by federal executive authorities, executive state authorities of constituent entities of the Russian Federation, business entities, technical committees for standardization, state control and supervisory authorities, experts and specialists of voluntary certification systems, public and professional associations involved in the formation and provision of barrier-free living environment for people with disabilities
