- This standard describes an expanded set of specifications given in GOST R 54994 related to the transmission of Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB) services as part of MPEG-2 transport streams over bidirectional IP networks by adding support for: ——dynamic service management, ensuring efficient network bandwidth usage; ——IPv6 technologies; ——regionalization of DVB services; ——update services. The requirements of this standard should be taken into account when developing, manufacturing and operating DVB devices, as well as when developing, designing and operating software for DVB networks
