Scope: This standard applies to public outdoor sports grounds (hereinafter referred to as sports grounds) used for physical education and sports activities, performing sports exercises and testing the physical fitness of users. Types of sports grounds by purpose: sports ground for strength training and sports ground for team sports. The standard establishes safety requirements for the placement of equipment, coverage and surrounding areas. The standard takes into account the needs of persons with disabilities. This standard does not apply to equipment for children's playgrounds and attractions that are subject to technical regulations [1] and [2]
