- Scope
- This standard applies to filtering half masks intended for protection against aerosols, with additional protection against vapors and gases of harmful substances, the content of which in the air of the working area does not exceed three values of the maximum permissible concentration (3 MPC) in accordance with GOST 12.1.005–88 ( appendices 1, 2), and establishes general technical requirements, test methods and marking requirements. This standard does not apply to filtering half masks in accordance with GOST 12.4.300, as well as to the following types of personal respiratory protection equipment (RPPE): ——firefighters; ——military; ——aviation; ——for underwater work
