Scope: This standard establishes the basic rules and regulations for assigning safety criteria for hydraulic structures of hydroelectric power plants in the process of declaring safety, as well as requirements for their use when carrying out technical control of the condition of hydraulic structures. This standard regulates general issues of determining safety criteria for hydraulic structures in accordance with the requirements of current regulatory documents at various stages of their life cycle, namely: during their design, operation, conservation, and liquidation. This standard defines the basic concepts, regulates the procedure and sequence of actions when selecting monitored and diagnostic indicators of the condition of hydraulic structures as part of design documentation and at the operation stage, determining their criterion values, developing predictive mathematical models, applying qualitative characteristics, and also determines the procedure for development and approval criterion values of diagnostic indicators of the condition of hydraulic structures
