Scope: This document stipulates the basic information, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, transportation, storage and shelf life of Dendrobium officinale stem extract, a raw material for cosmetics. This document applies to Dendrobium officinale stem extract used as a cosmetic raw material, extracted from the stems of the orchid plant Dendrobium officinale, which is made from organic alcohols such as glycerin, propylene glycol, or water, or a mixed liquid of both in appropriate proportions. During the extraction process, there is no preparation process such as biological enzymatic hydrolysis, fermentation, etc. to convert macromolecular sugars into small molecule sugars. Its main active ingredient is polysaccharide.
