Scope: This standard establishes the basic provisions for tourist and excursion services provided in the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation (AZ RF). This standard applies to tourist and excursion services provided in the AZ RF by legal entities and individual entrepreneurs, regardless of their organizational, legal forms and forms of ownership. Arctic tourism is carried out in remote, inaccessible, impassable terrain with harsh climatic conditions. In view of this, it is not recommended to carry out Arctic tourism without the use of tourist infrastructure in the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation
