GOST R 59752-2021 - Remote sensing data from space. General requirements for Earth remote sensing data from space

Scope: This standard applies to Earth remote sensing data from space obtained from spacecraft in the form of images. This standard does not apply to remote sensing data of the Earth from space obtained from space complexes (systems) for hydrometeorological, oceanographic and heliogeophysical purposes, except for data obtained from optical equipment of high and medium spatial resolution of these space complexes (systems) in the form of images. This standard establishes general requirements for Earth remote sensing data from space, their identification, composition, coordinate basis, description, used in the collection (receipt), cataloging, storage, processing, evaluation and quality assurance of Earth remote sensing data, as well as their provision to consumers . This standard is intended for use by customers and performers of development work on the creation (modernization) of space complexes (systems) for remote sensing of the Earth and their components, government authorities, legal entities and individuals involved in the creation, distribution and use of remote sensing data from space and their processing products
