Scope: This standard establishes general requirements for the construction, presentation, content, designation, design, coordination and approval, registration, revision, amendment, cancellation of technical specifications (TS) for paints and varnishes. The requirements of this standard do not apply to existing specifications that were approved before its entry into force. The specified specifications should be brought into compliance with the requirements of this standard during revision, and in justified cases - when developing next amendments to them
