2Scope / Description

This Part of BS 7114 describes methods for testing firework and certain items of ancillary equipment. It is applicable to fireworks for sale to the general public, for indoor and outdoor use (i.e. categories 1, 2 and 3 as classified in BS 7114: Part 1). Category 4 fireworks, i.e. fireworks which are incomplete and/or which are not intended for sale to the general pubilc, are excluded.
Category 3 shells supplied without a mortar tube are also excluded.
