2Scope / Description

This standard specifies the terms and definitions classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of bathroom electric heaters. This standard applies to non-storage room heaters that are fixedly installed in bathrooms. The rated voltage of single-phase appliances does not exceed 250 V; the rated voltage of other appliances does not exceed 480 V. This standard does not apply to those portable room heaters that can be used both in the room and in the bathroom, such as electric oil heaters. For natural convection bathroom electric heaters, bathroom electric heaters with thin-layer flexible heating elements as heat sources, and bathroom electric heaters with low-temperature large-area radiation heating elements as heat sources, the relevant requirements and test methods are under consideration.
