2Scope / Description

This standard applies to the special requirements for electric shavers, electric clippers and similar appliances in the safety of household and similar electrical appliances. These appliances include appliances for barbers and clippers for trimming animals. ③Multi-purpose appliances are included in the scope of this standard. When they are used together with special accessories, they should comply with the corresponding relevant standards. ④ This standard does not consider the special hazards existing in nurseries and other unattended places for the elderly, young, sick, and disabled. In this case, additional requirements are required. ⑤ This standard does not apply to: -- appliances specially designed for industrial use; -- appliances placed in special environments, such as places where corrosive and explosive gases (dust, steam, combustible gas) exist; -- battery-driven electric shavers, --massage appliances; --medical appliances. ⑥ Additional requirements are required for appliances used on vehicles, ships and aircraft. ⑦ Appliances for use in tropical areas require special requirements. ⑧ Additional requirements stipulated by the national health department and labor protection department should also be considered
