- This standard specifies the classification and specifications of pressure vessel flanges, the materials of flanges, studs, and nuts and their matching with gaskets, the maximum allowable working pressure at various levels of temperature, technical requirements, and markings. This standard is applicable to carbon steel and low alloy steel pressure vessel flanges with nominal pressures between 0.25MPa and 6.40MPa and operating temperatures above -70°C to 450°C.
