- This specification is applicable to the installation, on-site segmented assembly construction and acceptance of steel welded pressure vessels for oil and gas processing in oil fields with a design pressure higher than or equal to 0.1MPa and lower than 35MPa and a design temperature higher than -20°C. This specification does not apply to the following types of containers: 1. Containers heated by direct flames; 2. Containers frequently transported; 3. Containers subject to radiation; 4. Containers requiring fatigue analysis; 5. Containers governed by existing industry standards.
