- This specification applies to the manufacturing, installation, inspection and acceptance of steel welded atmospheric pressure vessels that meet the following requirements in oil and gas field surface construction projects. This specification does not apply to containers heated by direct flames, containers that are frequently transported, containers that are exposed to radiation, and containers that are buried underground or semi-underground.
