This standard specifies the water quality standards for the operation of industrial boilers. This standard applies to fixed steam boilers and steam-water dual-purpose boilers with a rated outlet steam pressure of less than 3.8MPa and water as the medium, and also to fixed pressurized hot water boilers and atmospheric hot water boilers with water as the medium. This standard does not apply to boilers made of aluminum.
