Scope

This Part specifies the detailed classification of marine fuels in category F (petroleum fuels). This part should be understood in conjunction with GB/T 12692.1. All bunker oils have many similarities, but they are used for different purposes. Many marine fuel oils, such as those based on crude oil residues, are difficult to clearly define their categories, but they can still be classified within the scope of this part.
