This part of GB/T 16927 specifies the terminology used, general requirements for test procedures and test objects, generation of test voltage and current, test procedures, treatment of test results and criteria for test eligibility. This part applies to the following tests for equipment with the highest voltage Um above 1KV: a) DC transformer insulation test; b) AC voltage insulation test; c) Impulse voltage insulation test; d) Combination and synthesis of the above voltages test.
