This standard specifies the full-scale evaluation test method for the threaded connection performance (sticking tendency, structural integrity and sealing) of oil pipes and casing used in the oil and gas industry. This standard is applicable to the evaluation of the performance of threaded connections of oil pipes and casing. In this standard, tubing and casing are distinguished based on their use rather than their outer diameter.
