This method is suitable for determining the kinematic viscosity of liquid petroleum products (referring to Newtonian liquid), and its unit is m2/s; usually mm2/s is used in practice. Dynamic viscosity can be obtained by multiplying the measured kinematic viscosity by the density of the liquid. Note: The liquid measured by this method is considered that the ratio of shear stress and shear rate is a constant, that is, the viscosity has nothing to do with shear stress and shear rate, and this liquid is called Newtonian liquid.
