Scope

This standard specifies the allowable value of harmonics in the public power grid and its test methods. This standard applies to public power grids with an AC rated frequency of 50Hz and a nominal voltage of 110kV or below. The public power grid with a nominal voltage of 220kV can be implemented with reference to 110kV. This standard does not apply to transient phenomena and short-term harmonics.
