2Scope / Description

1 Scope
This British Standard gives recommendations for the management, resourcing and staffing
of an organization providing bought-in labour, licensed or unlicensed, employed and/or
supplied to supplement the security and/or event workforce. 5 Establishing the scope of service
When determining the scope of the labour provision services, the service provider should take into account:

the conditions related to the service provision, referred to in Clause 4 ;
the products and services of the service provider;
sector-specific codes of practice; and
boundaries, e.g. offices or units.

The scope should be available as documented information.
