This standard applies to the determination of electrolytic corrosion performance of insulating materials under the influence of electrical stress, high humidity and high temperature in contact with metal. One test for assessing the extent of electrolytic corrosion is by successive two-method tests. a) The visual semi-quantitative method is judged by comparing the corrosion appearance of the positive electrode metal foil and the negative electrode metal foil (according to the reference picture given). The test is to use two copper foil strips as positive and negative electrodes respectively, place them in contact with the material to be tested, add a DC potential difference under specified environmental conditions, and directly compare the corrosion marks of the positive metal foil strip with the given Refer to the graph to evaluate the degree of corrosion. b) The quantitative method is to carry out the tensile strength test with the same positive electrode metal foil and negative electrode metal foil after visual inspection.
