2Scope / Description
This standard specifies the equivalent thermal resistance calculation method for non-uniform building envelopes and combinations of building envelopes separating the internal volume of a building from the external environment in residential, public, administrative, living, agricultural, and production buildings and structures. Based on the type of building envelope and the thermal non-uniformity it contains, this standard proposes a thermal calculation method for calculating the comprehensive thermal protection characteristics of thermally non-uniform building envelopes that separate spaces with different temperature and humidity environments (single room, adjacent room groups, floors, entire building facades, building envelopes in contact with soil, etc.). When calculating the thermal characteristics of the building's external building envelope, this standard also considers the following types of thermal non-uniformity: joints of building envelope components (external and internal corners, joints between exterior walls and cladding and ground floor, joints between exterior walls and internal building envelopes), and individual components of the external building envelope (joints between adjacent panels, sidewalls of door and window openings, and connectors between building envelope finishing layers).
