2Scope / Description

This document specifies the general requirements for preparing Technical Specifications (TS) and their format when procuring medical equipment (digital fluoroscopy and radiography X-ray systems). This document is a specific standard relative to GOST R 55719-2013, "Electrical Specifications for Medical Equipment. Content and format requirements for Technical Specifications for competitive bidding, for the procurement of high-tech medical equipment." This document applies to national and municipal procurement of medical equipment used to provide medical services. This document does not apply to medical equipment procured outside of national procurement. This document applies to digital X-ray systems consisting of three working areas: a rotating bed frame for fluoroscopy and radiography, a radiography bed with (or without) linear longitudinal tomography capabilities, a vertical support for radiography, or a remote-controlled rotating bed frame combining the functions of three working areas. This document does not apply to X-ray diagnostic equipment for film fluoroscopy and radiography, C-arm equipment, or digital equipment in urology and pediatrics.
