This part of ISO 14820 specifies methods for the reduction and preparation of samples of fertilizers and liming materials and specifies requirements for sample preparation reports. It also specifies methods for the preparation of test samples for subsequent chemical or physical analysis from laboratory samples of fertilizers. This part does not cover the preparation of test samples larger than 2 kg, which is required for certain physical tests. This standard applies to all fertilizers.
