2Scope / Description

Part 3 specifies the requirements for pressure vessels designed and manufactured in accordance with EN 13445-1:2014 that are not subject to flame heating, and the steel used in manufacturing in accordance with EN 13445-2:2014. Annex C of EN 13445-5:2014 specifies the design conditions for access to and inspection of openings, closures, and special closures. Note: This part applies to the design and calculation of pressure vessels prior to commissioning. It can also be adapted for verification in operational calculations or analyses.
