- This standard specifies the safety inspection requirements for lightning protection and anti-static grounding devices for oil (gas) field containers, pipelines and loading and unloading facilities. This standard applies to the installation and testing of grounding devices for all metal containers, non-metallic containers, pipelines and loading and unloading facilities that contain and transport flammable gases, liquefied hydrocarbons, and flammable liquids in oil (gas) fields.
