- This standard specifies the safety inspection requirements for lightning protection and anti-static grounding devices for oil (gas) field containers, pipelines and loading and unloading facilities. This standard applies to the installation and testing of grounding devices for all metal containers, pipelines and loading and unloading facilities in oil (gas) fields that contain and transport flammable gases, liquefied hydrocarbons, and flammable liquids.
