- This standard specifies the requirements and methods for testing and calculation of oil and gas field power grid line loss rate, power system power factor, and transformer load factor. This standard is applicable to the testing and calculation of line loss rate of oil and gas field power grids, as well as the testing and calculation of power system power factor and transformer load factor (see Figure 1). This standard does not apply to the calculation of line loss rates for oil and gas field captive power plants, 220kV lines and 10(6)kV distribution transformer load side systems.
