Industrial-process measurement and control - Data structures and elements in process equipment catalogues - Part 41: Lists of properties (LOPs) of process analysers for electronic data exchange - Generic structures
1Key Takeaways
IEC 61987-41:2025 provides: • A characterization for integrating process analyzers into the Common Data Dictionary (CDD); • Generic structures for Operating Lists of Properties (OLOP) and Device Lists of Properties (DLOP) of measurement equipment, in accordance with IEC 61987-10; • Generic structures for dynamic …
2Scope / Description
IEC 61987-41:2025 provides:
• A characterization for integrating process analyzers into the Common Data Dictionary (CDD);
• Generic structures for Operating Lists of Properties (OLOP) and Device Lists of Properties (DLOP) of measurement equipment, in accordance with IEC 61987-10;
• Generic structures for dynamic data, such as those used for condition monitoring of process analyzers.
The generic structures for OLOP and DLOP include the most essential blocks relevant to process analyzers. Blocks specific to particular equipment types will be detailed in the corresponding sections of the IEC 61987 standard series. Similarly, equipment-specific properties are not covered in this document. Consequently, OLOP, DLOP, and LOPD entries for selected families of process analyzers can be found in the IEC CDD.
