Design, preparation and application of external rendering and internal plastering - Part 2: Supplementary provisions for DIN EN 13914-2 for internal plastering

2Scope / Description

This specification contains supplementary provisions and recommendations to DIN EN 13914-2:2005-07 and is valid only when used in conjunction with that standard. Its scope is the same as DIN EN 13914-2:2005-07. Furthermore, this specification applies to the application of plastering conforming to DIN EN 998-1 and DIN EN 15824 to building walls and ceilings conforming to current standards (particularly DIN EN 1992-1-1, DIN EN 1996, DIN 4103-1 and DIN 4213), and can be applied by analogy to similar plastering substrates, such as older buildings. Surface treatments of components, such as fillers, leveling coats, plastering coats, mortar, finishes, as well as impregnation and coatings, are not considered plastering under this specification. Precast finishes, such as gypsum board, are not within the scope of this specification.
