- Scope
- This section applies to the classification of environmental parameters and severity levels of electrical and electronic products in stock. Products may be packaged in storage. The environmental conditions referred to in this section are limited to the conditions that directly affect the product and its basic performance, and this section does not specifically describe the impact of these conditions on the product. This part does not include the transit process of inventory, nor does it include the environmental conditions of fire, explosion, ion radiation and other unforeseen accidents, which will be considered in special cases. Inshore storage locations are also not considered. The conditions for fixed use, portable and non-fixed use, and vehicle and ship transportation are described in other parts of GB/T 4798.
